About

John Connell has been designing and building homes since 1980.  That’s when he imagined the Yestermorrow School with a group of like-minded dreamers, design/builders; craftspeople and architects.

Giocondo Susini, the most recent of many generations of Italian master-builders, is trained as both an engineer and an architect. He has probably forgotten more sacred geometry than the druids ever knew!

Additionally, we collaborate with a rare constellation of gifted designers and engineers all over North America.

Our process is about collaboration….

  • With the site.

  • With the homeowner

  • With the contractors

  • With the neighborhood

We don’t aspire to one style or “look”; no “brand” as they say.  What we make depends on where we’re making it and for whom.

In addition to portrait homes, we design & build:

  • prefab affordable housing

  • prefab historic replicas

  • prefab custom homes

  • treehouses for children in wheelchairs.

  • pop-up merchandizing and sales

  • interactive art kiosks

  • custom furniture & built-ins
